Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Furniture Assembler to join our team at BoConcept in Barking. As a global furniture brand operating in over 60 countries, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers daily and uphold the high standards of the organisation
  • Load furniture onto and from the vehicle
  • Drive deliveries to the site or customer homes
  • Install, assemble, and demonstrate furniture
  • Organise access to the site, including lifts and stairs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work flexible hours depending on customer demand

Requirements

  • Experience assembling furniture and fitting it, or a basic level of carpentry/DIY skills
  • Devoted to exceeding customer expectations in areas of customer service, fitting, and assembly
  • Flexible to work evenings or early starts in the Department Store
  • Possess a passion for delivering customer satisfaction, a positive attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to safely lift heavy objects
  • A Full UK driving license, as driving is an essential part of this role

What We Offer

In return, the successful candidate will have the potential to earn £25,000 within the first 12 months, depending on performance, as well as the potential to earn up to £5,000 in overtime. You will also benefit from extensive training, generous discounts, private healthcare, and a pension scheme.
