R3 is a leading trade association for the insolvency and restructuring industry, representing over 3,200 members from across the profession.

The recent election presents an excellent opportunity to build on strong foundations and drive real change for the industry.

We are seeking a seasoned Regulatory Affairs Expert with a proven track record in a regulated industry to lead all policy and public affairs workstreams, promoting and defending the reputation and interests of the restructuring and insolvency profession.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective policy positions, thought leadership output, and research through engagement with members and stakeholders.
  • Communicate policy positions to key decision-makers, including parliamentarians, civil servants, regulators, and other stakeholders, to effect positive change on behalf of the industry.
  • Act as an ambassador for R3, promoting the value of membership and the contributions of R3 members to the UK economy.
  • Ensure the Policy and Public Affairs team supports strategic priorities and corporate objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience driving policy and public affairs workstreams in a regulated environment.
  • Experience engaging with politicians and stakeholders to influence policy.
  • Ability to develop and manage public affairs campaigns promoting policy objectives.
  • Capability to manage volunteer committees and working groups, including agenda setting and minute writing.
