About the Role

The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out will involve:

  • Managing fit-out and refurbishment projects primarily for hotels
  • Interpreting technical drawings, generating and following up quotations
  • Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Producing formal quotations to customers
  • Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
  • Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Working on projects ranging in value up to £30m
  • Traveling to site when required (Nationwide)
Requirements

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out with:

  • Quantity Surveying experience within the fit out / design & build market sector
  • Working experience dealing with projects £20m+ in value
  • Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
  • Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator written and verbally
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team player who also works well individually
