Job Title: Locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team at Medecho Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic stroke conditions, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based treatment and management plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the care of stroke patients within the acute and rehabilitation settings, including managing inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Work collaboratively with the neurology team, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Participate in the stroke call rota, responding promptly to acute stroke admissions and providing urgent care.
  • Mentor and train junior medical staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals in stroke medicine practices.
  • Engage in clinical research and audits to improve stroke services and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation as per hospital protocols.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Specialty Training: Completion of specialty training in Neurology or Stroke Medicine (CCT or equivalent).
  • Registration with [Insert Country's Medical Board] and a valid license to practice.
