About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Your expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP will ensure alignment with best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC).

You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define and implement best practices for infrastructure and application delivery. Your technical leadership will help shape the future of Napier's technical architecture and drive continuous improvement across our platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Build Cloud Infrastructure: Use Terraform to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
  • Kubernetes Management: Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, implementing best practices for container orchestration, deployment, and monitoring.
  • CLOUD MANAGEMENT: Oversee deployments on Azure and/or GCP, ensuring cost-effective and high-performance cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration between development and operations, promoting DevOps best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role, with a strong focus on cloud-based microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or GCP, with relevant certifications being highly desirable.
  • Some experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including package management with Helm.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies, including Trunk Based Development.
