Geography Teacher Position in Southwark Secondary School

We are seeking a skilled Geography Teacher to join our faculty in a full-time permanent position at a well-regarded secondary school in Southwark.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic Geography department, inspiring the next generation of passionate individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Geography.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Geography or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
