Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and support the development and management of Combat Systems requirements.

About the Role

You will work with various engineering teams to improve your levels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the development of design solutions to complex technical problems against agreed time, cost and quality.
  2. Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools, and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority.
  3. Understand the contractual and performance requirements for Combat Systems, supporting the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities.
  4. Provide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities, including acceptance of equipment from suppliers through to system acceptance by the customer.
  5. Work with various engineering teams to improve your levels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise.

Requirements

  • Background within a STEM Subject.
  • Proven ability to solve problems.
  • Extensive stakeholder management skills at all levels with the ability to influence.

Experience we would like to see:

  • Specific Systems Engineering experience.
  • Experience in relevant industry.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career growth and development.
