Logistics Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Despatch Operative to work at ABP in Shrewsbury. This is a full-time role with fixed, guaranteed shifts. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Packing and building orders for Despatch to customers
- Preparing, checking, and verifying stock
- Palletise and locate stock when necessary in accordance with specifications
- Ensuring stock is picked in rotation and pallets are prepared ready for despatch
- Use correctly and prevent damage to equipment, vehicles and machinery where applicable
- Report any issues immediately to your supervisor
- Keep work areas tidy and clean at all times
- Ensuring the correct handling, palletising and storage of products to company and customer requirements in a manner that does not jeopardise product quality
- Maximise best use of storage facilities i.e. racking, floor space, external storage, containers and loading bays
- Carrying out any additional duties that may be reasonably requested

**Requirements:**
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

**Working Hours:**
- Day shifts: Monday to Saturday, 7am - 3:30pm with one weekday and every Sunday off
- Rate of pay for day shifts: £12.24 per hour
- Overtime is paid at £17 per hour
- Sundays and Bank holidays are paid at £22.66 per hour
