About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Nature Conservation Manager to lead our Environmental and Sustainability directorate. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the preservation of the natural environment.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic conservation programs. You will work closely with stakeholders to build partnerships and secure funding for these initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive nature conservation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create partnerships for conservation initiatives.
  • Manage and monitor field projects to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of conservation specialists and volunteers.
  • Conduct research and surveys to assess habitat conditions and wildlife populations.
  • Initiate public education campaigns to raise awareness about conservation issues.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and funding agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, conservation biology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in conservation management or similar roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and adapt to changing conditions.
