We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the production network service through availability monitoring, incident resolution, and fulfillment of service requests.
Key Responsibilities- Support the production network service through availability monitoring, incident resolution, and fulfillment of service requests.
- Perform network equipment installations and the application and testing of provided configuration.
- Collaborate with our customer to execute network fault rectification on a complex and ever-evolving MOD system in support of UK National Security.
- Occasional travel to other Leidos and customer sites may be required, as well as out-of-hours support based on a 1-in-6 rota of 7-day periods.
- Experience working in a Network Operations Centre.
- Able to comply with security policy as a network administrator.
- Experience with configuration and administration of high-grade encryption devices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as PRTG.
- Experience with coding languages such as Python and their use to enhance network automation and monitoring.
- Experience in supporting front end Voice over IP (VoIP) devices.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
- Experience performing packet capture and analysis.
