About the Role

NCC Group is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for handling core accounting responsibilities, including financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Support with financial and tax reporting, including preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted results, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support preparation of the month-end reporting pack, providing commentary for variances.
  • Weekly cash flow forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Deferred income calculations and reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred).
  • Relevant and demonstrable experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Office package, with strong/advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with standard costing is desirable.
  • Understanding of good financial practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
