About the role
As a Data Protection Specialist within our VMware, Storage and Backup team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on all aspects of data protection. This includes supporting BAU teams in resolving complex issues, restoring data, performance tuning and maintaining required technical documentation.

We are looking for someone with demonstratable previous experience and knowledge of working with multi-vendor SAN Storage, Enterprise Backup technologies and connectivity fabric. Excellent knowledge in managing corporate backup environments (Dell IDPA \\ PowerProtect Data Manager, Veeam Backup software and Zerto) is also essential. Additionally, the ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues is crucial. Working knowledge of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Windows platforms is also required.

This role offers a competitive salary of £46,000 - £55,000, plus a range of benefits including discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%, 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, contributory pension and access to private medical insurance.
