Front of House Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Team Leader to join our team at Restaurant Associates in Edinburgh. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure a positive experience for clients and their guests.
  • Manage the front-of-house team, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Ensure the front-of-house area is well-maintained and meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Assist the General Manager with the delivery of specific Reception, Switchboard, Room Bookings, and Hospitality services.
  • Own the space within your area, ensuring a high level of customer service is consistently delivered.
  • Set expectations and manage the Customer Experience within the Reception and Hospitality teams.
  • Ensure your team is fully informed about operational updates, processes, and account-wide objectives.
  • Provide written reports and quality data as required.
Requirements:
  • Passion for customer experience and a high attention to detail.
  • Flexible and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience working in a Front of House or Reception environment, ideally in a corporate or 5-star hotel setting.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, guests, and clients.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to supporting colleagues.
  • Computer literate, with a good understanding and working knowledge of office software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages.
  • Proven track record of achievement.
