Electrical Maintenance Specialist

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Buckingham. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, develop skills, and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and product quality.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to provide technical assistance in resolving equipment and plant malfunctions, including fault-finding repairs and refurbishments. The successful candidate will have a passion for problem-solving, a knack for efficiency, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide rapid technical assistance in resolving equipment and plant malfunctions, including fault-finding repairs and refurbishments.
- Develop and refine local operating procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Train operators in safe equipment operation and promote up-skilling.
- Implement planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures, plant, and other equipment to optimise production efficiency.
- Assist in the integration of new plant and equipment into the production environment.
- Continuously strive to eliminate and reduce waste within the manufacturing process.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a relevant C & G Electrical qualification, plus 18th edition, engineering degree, HNC, or HND. You should also have proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with PLC programming and fault finding, and strong communication skills.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have opportunities for career development and growth within the company.
