About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Practitioner to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions. As a Dental Practitioner, you will work alongside the military in a temporary capacity, providing a range of dental treatments to maintain oral health and operational fitness of personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full range of dental treatment to maintain oral health and undertake related general administrative duties.
  • Assist the Senior Dental Officer (SDO) or work independently to achieve dental fitness targets.
  • Ensure direct patient contact for at least 6.5 hours per day in 2 sessions.
  • Record all treatment on the electronic health record and relevant FMed documents.
Requirements
  • Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions.
  • Certified completion of Foundation Training in Dentistry in the UK or at least 24 months full-time postgraduate clinical experience.
  • Valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognised dental defence organisation.
  • Proof of clinical currency in accordance with JSP 950 Leaflet 4-1-4 Returning to Clinical Practice.
  • Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection.
Desirable Requirements
  • Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) Experience.
  • NHS Performer number.
  • Dentally related level 7 postgraduate qualification.
