Job Title: Construction Cost Manager

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Manager to join our team at Latitude Recruitment Careers in Hampshire.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in minimising costs and risks on construction projects while meeting legal and quality standards. This involves preparing forecasts and estimates, tracking contract variations, and creating profitability reports from a commercial perspective.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Involved in project stages from preconstruction to final account from a commercial perspective.
  • Engage with clients, attend meetings, and produce valuations and cash flows.
  • Procure subcontractors, negotiate prices, and manage contracts from initial contact to final account.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including listening to client needs and preparing reports.
  • Numerical and data analysis skills.
