About the Role

As a PLC SCADA Networks Engineer, you will be responsible for programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, as well as smart network configurations.

You will work with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens systems, SCADA programming, and network interfacing, and configure and manage smart networks and IT systems.

Additionally, you will integrate Ethernet and fibre network engineering.

This full-time office/on-site role is based in Belfast and Carrickfergus.

Requirements
  • A degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in PLC programming
  • Strong logical problem-solving skills
  • A full driver's license

Experience with SCADA programming, knowledge of Ethernet and fibre network engineering, hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs, a background in electrical engineering, experience in the power generation industry, and professional membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) are highly desirable.
