Job Title: Store Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Front of House Team: Manage and motivate the Front of House team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the Front of House area is maintained to the highest standards, including cleanliness, organization, and quality of products.
- Guest Service: Respond to guest complaints and take appropriate action to resolve issues, ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Train and direct team members to ensure great guest service and maintain high standards of quality control.
- Performance Management: Appraise personnel's performance and provide feedback to keep the team motivated and productive.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock inventory for Front of House and analyze consumption to optimize stock levels.
- Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety rules and regulations.
- Brand Promotion: Successfully promote and publicize the GDK brand.
- Teamwork: Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example.
- Operations: Monitor Front of House operations and initiate corrective actions.
- Duty Management: Take responsibility for the business performance of the Front of House and ensure the Front of House is operating according to GDK guidelines.
- Guest Complaints: Address the root cause of Front of House related guest complaints and take action to resolve the problem.
- Uniform Standards: Ensure all employees at the Front of House adhere to the company uniform standards.
- Guest Experience: Meet and greet guests and organize table reservations.
- Shift Supervision: Organize and supervise the shifts of dining and counter staff.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Cash Handling: Prepare cash drawers and provide petty cash as required.
- Team Support: Help in any position of the Front of House when circumstances dictate.
- Teamwork: Take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity, and a positive attitude within the working environment.
- Reporting: Complete all necessary daily reports.
- Training: Attend any training or meetings as and when required by German Doner Kebab or the Franchisee.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as designated by Operations Manager due to business demands.
- Collaboration: Work with General Store Manager to coordinate all aspects of the Front of House.
- Stock Control: Monitor the stock storage areas and Front of House neat and clean at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the General Store Manager and the Store Team to ensure tight stock control and budgeted margins are achieved.
- Administrative Tasks: Fill out daily paperwork.
- Guest Interaction: Meet and greet all customers where possible and role model exceptional guest care.
- Guest Experience: Lead and comply with maintaining high standards of guest care.
- Team Support: Support team colleagues at peak times and undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure guest expectations are met.
- Team Grooming: Ensure GDK Front of House team are always well-groomed and smart ready for work.
- Legal Compliance: At all times promote and follow legal responsibilities and requirements associated with the business.
- Equipment Maintenance: Have a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently take care of preventative maintenance.

Qualifications:
A qualified candidate for the position of Store Manager should have outstanding interactive and communication skills and possess the enthusiasm to work with colleagues and team as a team player. In addition to these, the following qualities, skills, knowledge, and abilities are most sought:
- Proven working experience as Supervisor/Duty Manager within the Food Industry
- Demonstrated experience in guest service management
- Extensive guest care knowledge
- Proficiency in English
- Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
- Financial management skills
