Electrical Maintenance Role

£54,600

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the Engineer Manager in reactive and planned maintenance. The successful candidate will ensure high standards are met by diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  2. Identify and highlight potential equipment failures to prevent downtime.
  3. Perform maintenance activities safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
  4. Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  5. Use problem-solving techniques to effect repairs and resume production quickly.
  6. Identify and implement improvements in plant and equipment.
Requirements:
  1. Time-Served Electrical Engineering
  2. HNC/ ONC/ HND / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  3. FMCG Engineering Background Preferred
  4. PLC Fault finding
