As a Chief Financial Strategist at SmartSourcing Ltd, you will lead the daily operations of the Finance department and support the Finance Director in this key role. Your primary responsibility will be financial reporting and analysis, contributing to strategic decision-making while enjoying autonomy to improve and streamline the finance function.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a Manufacturing SME, handling high-performance syntactic materials for various industries, including automotive, aerospace, marine, motorsport, and more. They will oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls, ensuring integrity and transparency as the business develops.

This role offers an estimated annual salary of £60,000-£80,000 based on your expertise and location.   • Key responsibilities include managing working capital components, maintaining accurate accounting records, and monitoring financial systems.
  • You will also be responsible for producing detailed cash flow forecasts extending out six months on a week-by-week basis and implementing robust internal controls.
