PE Global seeks a skilled Mechatronics Technician for a challenging 9-month contract opportunity. As part of our team, you will have the chance to become permanent, earning a competitive hourly rate of £13.05.

About this Role:

  • Assemble equipment and products accurately by reading and following blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Develop hydraulic systems according to designs and procedures, prioritizing cleanliness.
  • Monitor and control materials, products, or equipment to identify defects or faults.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to colleagues when needed.
  • Support initiatives focusing on timely delivery, schedule attainment, and cost-effective quality.
  • Implement 5S and LEAN Principles to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Contribute to introducing new techniques and products, and participate in purchasing new machinery and generating innovative ideas.
  • Actively respond to process improvements and implement changes as necessary.
  • Attend daily team brief meetings and engage in productive discussions.
  • Complete tasks assigned to ensure high target achievement levels.
  • Guarantee product quality meets the required standard while maintaining production levels.
  • Use the engineering support system to report issues and enhance current designs.
  • Inform the Cell Leader about potential issues that may hinder or disrupt product assembly.
  • Work safely and report any safety concerns to the Cell Leader or Manager.
  • Comply with inspection/fat criteria, policies, and procedures without exception.

Requirements:

  • Time served apprenticeship.
  • NC in a relevant subject.
  • Background in a mechanical based profession.
  • Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Forklift and overhead crane certificates (desirable).
