Job Description

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Us Automobile. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and preparation phases of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, including detailed cost estimates and construction schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify any potential challenges.
  • Work with the design team to resolve design issues and ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Negotiate contracts and subcontracts with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of all construction documents, including plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Manage project risks and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to mitigate those risks.
  • Oversee the pre-construction phase, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including owners, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure that all project goals are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction project management, ideally within a Tier 1 contractor environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership skills.
  • A technical understanding of complex construction schemes.
  • Experience of delivering outstanding customer and stakeholder service and management.
  • A construction-related degree.
  • CIOB membership or equivalent.
  • Experience of working on a variety of construction projects.
