AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Ingram Micro. As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of second-line incidents escalated from the 1st Line Support team ensuring timely resolution.
  • Troubleshoot AWS-related issues, such as network configurations, connectivity problems, and system performance issues.
  • Manage and maintain cloud-based systems and services on AWS, ensuring availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Handle system monitoring and health checks across various AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
  • Work closely with 3rd line engineers, solution architects, and developers to resolve complex issues and implement long-term fixes.
  • Automate routine tasks such as backups, updates, and system scaling using AWS tools like CloudFormation, AWS CLI, and Lambda.

Requirements:

  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
