About the Role:

Utilise Recruitment is seeking a Lead Arborist to join our team in Burton-upon-Trent area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of arborists, ensuring the health and safety of trees, conducting assessments, and performing necessary tree care activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Take responsibility for the gang, making sure PPE is worn and H&S is adhered to.
  • Task Management: Prioritise and delegate tasks to the team.
  • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain arborist equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
  • Team Development: Collaborate with team members to complete projects and meet client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in arboriculture and tree care.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in arboriculture (e.g., CS30/1, CS38, CS39, CS41, A06 Level 2 or 3 Arboriculture, NPTC certificates).
  • Expertise: Knowledge of tree biology, pest and disease management, and tree pruning techniques.
  • Certification: Proficient in the use of arborist tools and equipment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £28,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
