Role Purpose

Vox Network Consultants is seeking a skilled Contract Lawyer to join our Contracts and Major Projects team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues, varying in complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and assistance on contracts, grants, procurement, and company law.
  • Work closely with the Council's departments to proactively coordinate, problem solve, and manage a large number of instructions.
  • Deputise for more senior team members as required.
  • Assist in drafting a wide range of contracts, including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4.

Requirements

  • Qualified barrister, solicitor, or legal executive with an impressive knowledge of contract and company law.
  • Experience in local authorities.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Contract Details

  • Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
  • PAYE via Umbrella.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
