Role Purpose
Vox Network Consultants is seeking a skilled Contract Lawyer to join our Contracts and Major Projects team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and assistance on a wide range of issues, varying in complexity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and assistance on contracts, grants, procurement, and company law.
- Work closely with the Council's departments to proactively coordinate, problem solve, and manage a large number of instructions.
- Deputise for more senior team members as required.
- Assist in drafting a wide range of contracts, including standard build contracts such as JCT or NEC4.
Requirements
- Qualified barrister, solicitor, or legal executive with an impressive knowledge of contract and company law.
- Experience in local authorities.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Contract Details
- Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
- PAYE via Umbrella.
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
