Job Opportunity for a Dedicated Physical Education Teacher

Step Teachers is seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in the Enfield area. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting physical fitness, health, and teamwork among our student body.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging participation and promoting physical fitness.
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students to help them develop their physical skills and confidence.
  • Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, tournaments, and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Physical Education with other areas of the curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and achievements.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during Physical Education lessons and activities, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Physical Education Teacher with relevant teaching qualifications (QTS) and certifications.
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education to students in a mainstream Secondary school.
  • Passionate about promoting physical fitness, health, and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and learning.
