Main Responsibilities
As a Theatre Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our theatre team. This will include coordinating patient care, managing theatre schedules, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Training and Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who are registered with the NMC or HCPC and have a degree or diploma in a relevant field. You will also need to have experience of working in a theatre or surgical setting, preferably in a similar role.
Desirable Criteria
It would be advantageous if you have experience of mentoring or staff supervision, as well as knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
Skills and Abilities
You will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
