Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Team Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and young people. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of social workers, ensuring that cases are effectively managed, and providing supervision and support to your team members.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of social workers in assessing and intervening in complex child protection cases
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing caseloads and prioritizing tasks
  • Provide regular supervision and coaching to your team members, focusing on their professional development and well-being
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to statutory requirements and agency policies


About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A recognised qualification in social work (e.g., DipSW or CQSW)
  • Significant experience in managing social work teams, ideally in a local authority setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, intervention, and case management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including children, families, and professionals
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures


What We Offer
