Job summary

As a Staff Nurse within our Paediatric Assessment Unit, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team that provides care to a wide range of children and young people with various medical and surgical conditions. Key responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing relevant forms of care without direct supervision and participating in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff. You will also play an active part in the continuing development of the ward or department, contributing to the maintenance of an environment conducive to the delivery of high standards of patient care.

Person specification

We are looking for exceptional, committed, caring, and compassionate Staff Nurses with post-registration experience who have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will have NMC registration as a nurse and relevant experience within an acute care setting.

We offer a 12-month Preceptorship program for newly qualified staff and a local robust development program for experienced staff, which will provide you with support and guidance, regular staff engagement, feedback sessions, and a supportive team ethos.
