We are a leading UK Building Services Consultancy seeking an Electrical Tester with experience on commercial projects. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out surveys of electrical systems on commercial buildings and hotels in Central London, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • They will also be responsible for producing detailed reports outlining their findings, including recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
  • In addition, the successful candidate will work closely with our team to implement any necessary corrective actions to ensure the electrical systems meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • A recognised testing qualification (2391/2394/2395) is essential for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on commercial projects, particularly in the field of electrical testing and inspection.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are also crucial for this position.

Working Arrangements:

  • The successful candidate can expect to work approximately 60% of their time conducting site visits, with the remainder spent in the office producing reports and communicating with colleagues.
  • There may be occasions where evening and weekend work is required, for which overtime pay will be applicable.
