About the Job

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an Activities Program Manager to manage and coordinate activities and volunteer programs for a care home, including internal and external communication, networking, and event planning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and conducting activities for residents, meeting the Seven Branches of Cinnamon Activities Programme, and promoting activities on the Cinnamon website and social media. They will also manage the activities budget and assess residents' social needs to develop personal activities programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and conduct activities for residents, meeting the Seven Branches of Cinnamon Activities Programme.
  • Navigate and foster relationships with local businesses, organisations, and schools to establish partnerships and build a volunteer base.
  • Manage the activities team, including supervisions, appraisals, and rota management.
  • Plan special events and produce a monthly program of events.
  • Promote activities on the Cinnamon website and social media.
  • Manage the activities budget and assess residents' social needs to develop personal activities programs.

Requirements:

  • Current experience in managing a team.
  • Level 3 (QCF) Supporting Activities Provision qualification.
  • NAPA qualifications and training areas desirable.
  • IT literacy and competence with systems.
  • Full clean driving license to drive a minibus for outings.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
