We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice at our Nene Valley Day Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our team to create a safe and supportive learning environment, planning and implementing activities to enhance children's development.
- Interact positively with all nursery users, working in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure individual needs are met.
- Adhere to nursery routines and policies, seeking guidance from your leadership team as required.
- Manage your time effectively to submit coursework by set deadlines.
- An hourly pay rate of £6.55, increasing to £10 per hour after 6 months and £11.44 per hour after 12 months.
- A 'congratulations' payment of £300 upon successful completion of the level 3 apprenticeship.
- Potential for an annual tax-free dividend payment.
- 'Recommend a friend' bonuses of £1000 for successful referrals.
- Childcare discount from day one, with 75% for your children and/or 40% for your grandchildren.
- Fully-paid enhanced DBS check.

- 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell days.
- Annual conference and awards event.
- Documentation to evidence your right to work in the UK.
- Photographic ID in the form of a valid passport or driving licence.
- Official documentation to evidence your national insurance number.
- Access to a computer for online assessments and coursework submission.
- Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
- Comfortable with travelling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
