About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Youth Football Coach to join our team at Liverpool Football Club, responsible for developing and leading coaching sessions for emerging talent centres. The successful candidate will have a strong background in football coaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire young players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality coaching sessions that meet the needs of individual players and teams;
  • Develop and implement coaching curricula that align with the club's vision and values;
  • Provide regular feedback and guidance to players and coaches on their performance and development;
  • Work closely with other coaches, medics, and performance staff to ensure a cohesive approach to player development and injury prevention;
  • Manage games and festivals in a way that promotes positive behaviour and fair play;
  • Be available to offer advice, guidance, and support to players on football and personal matters;
  • Ensure the wellbeing and welfare of all players and staff is always an operational priority.

Requirements:

  • Football coaching experience with a proven track record of developing young players;
  • FA Level 2/UEFA C or above coaching qualification;
  • FA DBS clearance;
  • FA Safeguarding Children certification;
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills;
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and a passion for promoting positive role models within the club.
