About the Job

This Project Accountant role involves taking ownership of all finance aspects related to projects being delivered to the UK client base, including project setups, billing, project costs, purchase orders, and requisitions.

Key Objectives
  • Produce high-quality draft invoices for designated areas and distribute to Project Managers for review.
  • Ensure timely and efficient response to customer queries.
  • Liaise with team members to resolve queries effectively.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients.
  • Process PIFs and set up new projects within EBS according to agreed timeframes.
  • Update contract variances and changes to revenue on EBS in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and team members to maintain up-to-date forecast costs to completion.
  • Raise project-related purchase requisitions and track purchase orders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of timesheets.
  • Provide expert financial and accounting support to Project Managers.
Requirements
  • Experience working with accounting systems and ERP, preferably EBS and Oracle.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Familiarity with dealing with projects in different currencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Organized approach with the ability to manage projects effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
