AA Euro Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical engineering design and management tasks on projects. The successful candidate will achieve a generous salary for this role.

The role involves leading engineering design and design management tasks on projects as part of an integrated project team. The candidate will design and specify electrical engineering solutions to current regulations and design standards.

The successful candidate will work directly with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions. They will lead pre-construction engineering activities and produce information including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, and sub-contracts.

The candidate will provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams. They will also provide off-site technical support to construction teams on projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of electrical engineering services and design
  • Third-level degree in electrical or building services engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment
  • Knowledge and experience of CIBSE, Ashrae design guides, building regs, EN standards, and IEC standards
  • Experience in Dialux and Amtech
  • Experience of client, vendor, and contractor interaction and management
  • Proactive, good communicator with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
