Senior Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team at the Rowan Learning Trust. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our schools, ensuring the effective management of our finances and resources.
Key Responsibilities- Line manage a team of finance staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the effective management of school finances.
- Monitor and review financial reports and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve the goals of the trust.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to school leaders and other stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports and budgets for the trust.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
- Professional finance background, including management experience in school/academy finance.
- Experience with purchase orders, sales invoices, and monthly reconciliations.
- Skilled in drafting and editing financial spreadsheets and documents.
- Strong IT skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adhere to performance indicators.
