We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic individual to join our team as a Charity Fundraiser. As the face of our charity partners, you will be responsible for engaging with the public and securing their support through regular monthly direct debit donations or signing up for lotteries.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be part of a well-established charity fundraising agency with almost 3 decades of experience, dedicated to organizing fundraising campaigns for reputable UK charities.
As a Charity Fundraiser, you will be working on a variety of locations such as shows, events, superstores, small stores, town centers, shopping centers, and train stations. You will be provided with charity-branded attire and necessary equipment, as well as an electronic tablet for donor sign-ups.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with the public and secure their support through regular monthly direct debit donations or signing up for lotteries
- Work on various locations such as shows, events, superstores, small stores, town centers, shopping centers, and train stations
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with donors
- Meet and exceed fundraising targets
- Work collaboratively with the internal venues team to maximize donor engagement
- A positive outlook and strong work ethic, driven to exceed targets independently
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles such as sales or customer service
- Exceptional communication skills, especially in face-to-face interactions and quick rapport building
- Availability to work on Saturdays, crucial for peak sign-up times
- Possession of a valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Starting basic salary of £23,795 + uncapped discretionary bonus (£45K+ OTE)
