Warehouse Sorter Job Description

Angard Staffing is seeking a skilled Warehouse Sorter to join our team at our busy Parcelforce distribution centre in Birmingham. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our parcel sorting process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading large parcels from vehicles, handling items with care and attention to detail.
  • Operating the parcel sort machine as part of a team, contributing to the efficient processing of parcels.
  • Adapting to changing tasks and priorities during a shift, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 30kg, with assistance provided for larger items, and standing comfortably for extended periods.
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 30kg.
  • Previous experience in warehouse or sorting work is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
