Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Yeading, UB4 9SN. As a key member of our Store to Home team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a two-person team delivering products to customer premises on a multidrop basis, with an average of 16 drops per day off-peak and 24 drops per day in peak season.
  • Assist the delivery driver in parking and maneuvering a company vehicle, as well as loading and unloading vehicles as required.
  • Provide effective customer service, ensuring goods are delivered in excellent condition and customers are kept informed of their estimated time of delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience of dealing with multi-drop home delivery is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to complete manual handling tasks, such as pulling, lifting, and pushing.
  • A can-do attitude with a knack for problem-solving.
  • Willingness to undertake a pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Ability to commute to Yeading, UB4 9SN for the required shift pattern.
What We Offer
  • An hourly rate of £13.05, with an annual salary of £27,144.00.
  • An additional £5.50 per hour when working on Sundays.
