Therapy Assistant Career Opportunity

As a Learning Support Assistant at Academics, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs in our Reigate-based school. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills while working closely with a team of professionals.
Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in delivering the curriculum for students, providing behaviour and pastoral support, fostering positive relationships with students, and implementing practical approaches to meet individual student needs. Additionally, you will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, show compassion and listening skills, and maintain the safeguarding of students.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is £80-£90 per day, paid on a PAYE basis, term-time only, Monday through Friday, 08:30 to 15:30. An excellent on-site training program and support system are provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students.
Requirements
While no previous experience is required, having a Psychology, Criminology, or Social Science degree can be beneficial. Most importantly, you must have the right to work in the UK without any Visa sponsorship needed.
