Laboratory Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to support our Exploration & Production team in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment and contribute to the success of our team.
About the Role:
- Perform sample analysis in accordance with approved technical standards and client requirements.
- Collate sample analysis results and prepare final reports for proofreading and issue to clients.
- Conduct stock-taking and receipting of consumables for the section.
- Perform necessary equipment maintenance to ensure they remain within acceptable operating and valid calibration standards.
- Report technical faults and non-conformance issues to the line manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team in achieving its goals and objectives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory.
- Contribute to the development of new procedures and processes to improve laboratory efficiency.
