Job Summary:We are looking for individuals with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering to join our team as dual-skilled fitters. The successful candidates will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing the Class 390 Avanti High-Speed Trains Fleet.
Key Responsibilities:- Servicing and maintaining traction and rolling stock in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, with a continuous emphasis on enhancing quality.
- Working closely with the production manager to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or an equivalent recognised qualification).
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- A background in Aerospace, REME (Engineering in the Armed Forces), HGV/Buses, or operating large vehicles is essential.
- Ongoing contract opportunity with a leading rail company.
