We are seeking a highly skilled Apparel Graphic Designer to join our in-house "Own Brand" Design team at Footasylum's Head Office in Rochdale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating original brand-appropriate artworks, placement prints, repeats, and branding packs across all multi-product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching new trends and high-street competitors to identify commercial opportunities and present customer trend analysis boards.
  • Traveling to UK stores and attending research trips for inspiration.
  • Attending international and UK festivals and social events to identify the Footasylum customer.
  • Developing design concepts from research and creating initial new designs to present to brand managers and buyers.
  • Demonstrating expertise in different print techniques and innovating embellishment and print techniques.
  • Producing clear and concise technical graphic CAD design specifications within specified time frames.
  • Utilizing advanced knowledge of hand illustration, Photoshop, and Illustrator packages to create original artworks, placement prints, repeats, and branding.
  • Liaising with Product Developers and factories overseas to provide clear and concise comments.
  • Building and maintaining close links with the buying and design team.
  • Developing and supporting junior designers and proofreading their work as required.
