About the Role
We are seeking a Research Fellow with methodological expertise in qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or health economics to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will undertake and deliver national-level complex innovations in health and social care.

As a member of the IDEAS team, you will support the evaluation cycle from co-design to dissemination, knowledge exchange, and delivering policy impact. You will work independently and liaise with project and policy partners across health and social care sectors.

The posts are aligned to the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and are offered on a fixed-term basis.

About the Team
IDEAS is a newly established team funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Health and Social Care Delivery Research (HSDR) programme. The team is led by Professors Angela Bate and Sonia Dalkin and comprises academics, national and regional partners, and stakeholders.

IDEAS is located within the Centre for Health and Social Equity (CHASE) and you will be aligned to the Department of Social Work Education and Community Wellbeing or the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health.

About the Ideal Candidate
To be eligible for this post, you will have a PhD (or be near to completion) in a subject relevant to health and/or social care or social sciences. You will have knowledge and experience of either qualitative research methods, quantitative research methods, or health economics, including data collection and analysis.

You will have a strong understanding of the UK health and social care system, including its organisation and delivery. You will be able to work independently and liaise with project and policy partners across health and social care sectors.
