About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Materials Controller to join our team at Sterling Recruitments, based in Leekbrook. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials across our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following all Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Receiving and logging goods accurately and efficiently
  • Implementing proper storage methods to optimize warehouse space
  • Escalating any issues to your line leader in a timely manner
  • Maintaining correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Reporting any inconsistencies in material quality
  • Managing records of materials used daily
  • Conducting regular stock reviews

Salary Details:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of £10.00, with an overtime rate of £15.00 per hour. Our benefits package includes weekly pay, online access to payslips, accrued holiday time paid separately, and a referral bonus scheme.

Requirements:

  • Excellent processing skills and knowledge of COSHH
  • Proficiency in Sage software
