English Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our exceptional English department at an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Kingston.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a stimulating and enriching English curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's high standards.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters intellectual curiosity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the English department and across the school to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
