We are seeking a highly motivated and organized SSC Associate to join our HR Shared Service team at BDO UK. As an Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of HR-related administration and contributing to the success of our business.

• Provide a seamless candidate onboarding experience, ensuring a positive first impression for new joiners.
• Manage the full process of background screening for candidates, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR guidelines.
• Collaborate with the EH recruitment team, cross-training on new processes and ensuring a strong candidate experience.
• Ensure compliance with firm-wide processes during the onboarding experience, maintaining high standards of quality and effectiveness.
• Focus on client service excellence, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Partners and employees.
• Work closely with other HR teams, such as Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward, and HR Generalist teams, to ensure a unified approach to HR services.

• A / AS Level education or equivalent.
• Proven experience within an HR operational delivery role, ideally within a Shared Service structure.
• Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Previous experience of working with HR Systems.
• Understanding of confidentiality & GDPR.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Process-oriented, able to work within SLA's to ensure our service meets the demands of the business.
• A high level of personal commitment to task completion.
