FLT Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled FLT Operative to join our team at Randstad RIS. As a FLT Operative, you will be responsible for safely operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks to transport materials throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive counterbalance and reach forklift trucks to transport materials
  • Transport materials to the point of use
  • Perform general warehouse duties
  • Manual handling of materials
  • Use handheld scanners to locate and identify products
  • Conduct pre-operation safety checks on vehicles
  • Decant deliveries and pick parts

Requirements:

  • A valid FLT counterbalance or reach license through a recognized awarding body
  • 6 months forklift driving experience
  • Health and safety awareness

Working Hours and Pay:

We offer competitive pay rates and flexible working hours. Morning shift: £12.79 per hour, afternoon shift: £15.35 per hour, night shift: £16.24 per hour.
