About the Role

We are seeking an experienced NPI Product and Process Quality Engineer to join our team at Corin. As a key member of our Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our orthopaedic products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and develop manufacturing solutions from the early phases of New Product Introduction (NPI) through to production, working closely with our Design Engineers and Production Engineers.
  • Work as part of a project core team to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Quality (DFQ), and Design for Assembly (DFA) are delivered within a limited period.
  • Develop manufacturing solutions, processes, and specify new equipment purchases as required, working with our operational team and external suppliers.
  • Support the generation of manufacturing, process control, validation, risk management, and technical documentation according to Corin's internal procedures.
  • Identify process risks and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with the Supplier Quality Team to ensure the quality of supplied parts.
  • Support the company's Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) activities and act as a subject matter expert for Process Engineering tasks within assigned CAPA projects.
Requirements
  • Engineering qualification and time-served engineering experience on the tools and reading drawings within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Microsoft experience and confidence in Minitab.
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
