We are seeking an experienced and qualified maternity nurse to provide night support to a family in Kent. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in newborn care and be able to assist with feeding, sterilizing, and prepping feeds, as well as changing nappies and settling the baby down to sleep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide night support to the family, including feeding, sterilizing, and prepping feeds
- Assist with changing nappies and settling the baby down to sleep
- Support the family in establishing a routine for the newborn
- Work collaboratively with the family to ensure the best possible care for the baby
Requirements:
- Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check
- Paediatric first aid certification
- Checkable references
- Previous experience working as a private maternity nurse
- Relevant qualification or certificate, such as NEST, MNT, BabyEm, or HATA
Salary and Hours:
The salary for this position is around £22-£24 gross per hour, depending on experience. The hours of work will be 2 nights per week, ideally Monday and Thursday, with a 10-hour shift per night.
